When Houses Of The Holy came out in 1975, Zeppelin was concerned it wouldn't do as well as their HUGE fourth album Zoso. They were wrong. This record was all over the radio with Dyermaker. My fav track is Song Remains The Same but the album is uniformly excellent. It features what I feel is the best bass work John Paul Jones has done for Zeppelin.

Jan 14, 2012 · Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA. My current favorite HOTH is a mid 1970s US Monarch pressing. It's a SD7255 with a 75 Rockefeller label. Both sides are -E cuttings with "STERLING RL" in the deadwax. This copy slightly beats other US and UK "RL" copies including a US DJ promo. IMO, all the RL pressings I've heard sound good.
